Q: How does an idea become a series?

A: It's all in the pitch.

Our current fundraising efforts are in support of the distribution of a pitch deck that will be used to secure production and distribution deals with our contacts at studios, production companies and content aggregators.  The pitch deck includes summary character sketches, plot point outlines, vision statements and a video teaser trailer/mood reel to convey the planned aesthetic approach, and a video of the McCarthy Era's current cultural relevence as examined in today's news.

To compliment the pitch deck and resulting series, we're also intending to develop the trove of period photographs, correspondence, ephemera, audio recordings, films, and contemporary filmed interviews into a companion documentary film.  The primary material is there and the content practically begs for it.

The non-profit fiscal agent Filmmakers Collaborative has generously taken us on as a featured project.  As a result, we're able to solicit tax-deductible donations and organizational grants.

Producing and distributing the pitch deck is an eminently achievable, low-cost way to launch this project.  We simply need help getting there.  Conducting research across the country and abroad, conferring with our stable of experts, interviewing living survivors of this story, and generating the elements of the pitch deck have all been made possible thanks to our generous supporters.  But we're not done yet.  Refining some of the elements, paying vendors, and travel for meetings require funding.  And any help is welcome help.  Thanks in advance!
