Hearing of Harvey's disappearance, Albert Kahn, the blacklisted co-owner of a tiny New York publishing firm, races the FBI to find him, hoping Harvey's rumored manuscript will exonerate dozens of wrongly accused Americans, including one of Albert's close friends. Before long, Albert will have staked his firm, his freedom, and the unity of his family on his ability to convince the elusive, erratic Harvey to confess to lies that, if revealed, could shake America to its core.
